George's Cooking Philosophy
Generosity First
Greek cooking is generous by nature. Every dish is designed to feed people properly, with portions that leave the table satisfied.
Flavour Forward
Bold, honest Mediterranean flavours. Fresh herbs, quality olive oil, slow-cooked meats. Nothing timid, nothing restrained.
Heritage Meets Modern
Traditional Greek recipes elevated with modern technique. Respecting the origins while pushing the boundaries of what Greek food can be.
How to Reheat George's Meals
⚠️ Important: Always defrost in the fridge first
All Providoor meals must be fully defrosted in the fridge before reheating. Do not cook from frozen, as this causes uneven heating and burning.
FIFO rotation: When your order arrives, put your favourite meals in the fridge first (so they defrost), and store the rest in the freezer. As you eat a fridge meal, move one from the freezer to the fridge to defrost next.
Oven method (recommended): Preheat to 180 degrees Celsius (160 degrees Celsius fan-forced). Place defrosted meal in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil. Heat for 25 to 35 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes for a golden finish.
Microwave method (quick): Remove outer packaging. Pierce film lid of tray before heating or transfer contents to a microwave-safe container. Heat on HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir well, then heat for a further 1 to 2 minutes if required. Stand for 1 minute. Stir before serving.
