Ordering

How do I place an order on Providoor?

Browse our full menu, add meals to your cart, and check out through our secure online store. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay or Union Pay.

Is there a minimum order?

A minimum order value of $80 applies after all discounts and excludes delivery charges. For example, when using a $40 discount, your cart must contain at least $120 of products before the discount is applied. This minimum helps us keep delivery costs down while bringing convenient, quality meals to customers across NSW, VIC and QLD.

Can I choose meals from different chefs in the same order?

Yes. You can mix and match available mains, sides and desserts from the current menu in one order.

Do I need an account to order?

You can check out as a guest, but creating an account lets you track orders, save your delivery details and reorder favourites quickly. You can create an account here.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Because we process orders quickly, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

How are meals shipped?

All orders are packed in insulated boxes with ice bricks to keep everything frozen during transit. Your meals will arrive frozen and ready to go straight into the freezer.

Can I choose a delivery date?

You can select a preferred delivery window during checkout. Specific delivery times within that window cannot be guaranteed. You will receive tracking details via SMS approximately 24 hours before delivery.

What if I am not home when my order arrives?

Our drivers will leave your order in a safe spot, typically your front door. You can add delivery instructions at checkout. Because the packaging is designed to keep meals frozen for the transit period, we recommend putting them in your freezer as soon as you can.

Do you deliver to apartments?

Yes. For accessible buildings, the driver will deliver to your unit door. For secure buildings without access, parcels are left near the intercom or lobby area. Please add any access codes or buzzer details in your delivery notes.

Food Quality

Are Providoor meals fresh or frozen?

Providoor supplies frozen meals. Follow the storage instructions and date on the latest packaging for each product.

Who are the chefs?

Explore Marco Pierre White’s dishes and the current Providoor menu. Each product page identifies the dish and its details.

Do meals contain preservatives or artificial additives?

Ingredients vary by product. Check the full ingredients list on the product page and latest packaging for additives, preservatives and allergens.

How long do meals last in the freezer?

Meals can be stored in your home freezer for several months. Each product has a best-before date printed on the packaging. For the best taste and texture, we recommend consuming meals within the timeframe listed on the pack.

What ingredients are used?

Each product page on our website lists the full ingredients. We use high-quality, restaurant-grade produce. For example, our chicken dishes use free-range chicken.

Reheating

Which preparation instructions should I follow?

Check the product page before ordering and follow the instructions on the latest packaging when preparing your food. Some dishes require several cooking stages, while others must be cooked from frozen. Follow the instructions for your specific product.

Are the Plastic Trays oven proof?

Our CPET trays are suitable for microwave or oven use according to the product instructions. Follow the latest packaging for the correct temperature, time and any film-removal steps; these instructions do not apply to pouches.

Do I need to defrost meals before cooking?

Defrost in the refrigerator before use for best results, unless the product specifically states to cook from frozen. Do not submerge food or packaging in water to defrost or reheat. Follow the latest packaging for each dish.

How long does it take to prepare a meal?

Preparation time varies by dish and may include several stages. Check the product page when planning your meal and follow the latest packaging.

Will the meals taste as good as a restaurant?

That is the whole idea. Our chefs develop each recipe to taste exactly as it would in their restaurant. Snap freezing locks in the flavour at the point of cooking, so when you reheat, you are getting restaurant-quality results at home.

Does Providoor cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. We offer meals across several dietary categories including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and low calorie. You can shop by dietary requirement here.

Is allergen information available?

Yes. Allergen information is listed on every product page. If you have a severe allergy, we recommend reading the full ingredients list on the packaging as well, since our meals are prepared in kitchens that handle multiple allergens.

Yes. We have a dedicated kid-friendly collection with meals designed to appeal to younger eaters.

Do gift cards expire?

Gift card terms and conditions are outlined at the time of purchase. We recommend checking the current terms on our gift card page

About Providoor

Is this the same Providoor from COVID?

Providoor was originally founded during COVID to help restaurants survive lockdowns. That business later went into administration. In late 2023, new owners purchased the brand and relaunched it with a different model: gourmet frozen meals from celebrity chefs, delivered to eligible postcodes in NSW, VIC and QLD. The current Providoor is a completely new company. Vouchers from the original Providoor cannot be redeemed with us.

Where is Providoor based?

Providoor is an Australian company. Our meals are prepared and dispatched from facilities on the East Coast of Australia.

How do I contact Providoor?

You can reach our customer service team through the contact form on our website or by emailing us directly. Response times are typically within one business day.

It appears that your voucher belongs to the old Providoor, which, unfortunately, is not us. :(

We understand how much the original Providoor meant to many Australians, especially during the challenging times of COVID. It provided a way to enjoy high-quality meals from beloved restaurants in the comfort of your home. We also understand that some of you may still hold vouchers from the previous iteration of Providoor, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

When the original Providoor, unfortunately, went into administration, we made the decision to purchase the brand because we recognised its significance to so many Australians. Providoor was more than just a business; it was a source of comfort, connection, and joy during tough times. However, while we have revived and rebranded Providoor to focus on delivering gourmet frozen meals from celebrity chefs, we are a completely new company with a different business model and operations.

This means that we do not have any obligation to honour the vouchers issued by the previous company, as those financial liabilities were not transferred to us during the acquisition. We know this may be disappointing news, but please understand that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued customers.

Thank you again for your understanding and for being a part of Providoor’s journey. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality gourmet experiences, and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Warm regards,
The Providoor Team
