Justin has always had a passion for food and a love for people. His Fiji-Indian culture has not only influenced his culinary expression but also the joy he finds in bringing people together around the table. Justin applied for MasterChef 2021. His journey was one to follow as he overcame some personal setbacks to claim the title of MasterChef Australia 2021.
Justin has gone on to gain experience at some of Australia's best restaurants and has launched two pop up restaurants. Which was the birthplace of Juzzy’s Tacos with the intention of bringing it to the masses through a digital first design restaurant. Justin has also gone to work with, consult and recipe develop with some of Australia’s biggest brands and tour one of his restaurants across the globe to the shores of India. Justin is currently in the process of writing a book set to be released in 2025 and is constantly working to bring the public inspiring recipes and value through media and TV. His passion for hospitality also led to his most current venture of Acceptable Wine.
