Meal Gifts for New Parents
Help with dinner during the first weeks at home. Send new parents chef-made meals for their freezer, or give them a Providoor gift card so they can choose the dishes and delivery timing that suit their household.
Choose meals or a gift card
A Providoor Gift Card is a useful choice when you are unsure about food preferences, freezer space or when the parents will be home. Cards are emailed to the purchaser immediately after purchase, ready to forward, and are valid for three years from purchase. See the product page for available values and full information.
If you would like to send food directly, explore the Make Life Easy Box or choose individual dishes from the current menu. Check the current contents, serving information and preparation instructions before ordering; the menu can change.

Plan a postpartum food gift
- Ask about allergies, dietary needs and favourite dishes.
- Check freezer space and the appliances they prefer to use.
- Agree a delivery day before sending food, including who will receive it.
- Consider a later delivery if their freezer is already full.

Check delivery and order requirements
Meal delivery is available to eligible postcodes in NSW, VIC and QLD. Use the delivery checker for the recipient's address before choosing food.
Standard delivery is $14.95 in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro delivery zones. Free delivery starts at $179 for Sydney metro and $199 for other eligible delivery areas. Regional delivery charges vary by postcode.
Food orders require a minimum of $80 after discounts, excluding delivery charges. For example, a $40 discount requires at least $120 of food before the discount. This minimum helps us keep delivery costs down for customers.
Keep preparation simple
Defrost food in the refrigerator before use for best results, unless the product specifically directs cooking from frozen. Do not submerge food or its packaging in water to defrost or reheat. Follow the latest pack instructions for the dish, including how to prepare its tray or pouch. Our preparation guide helps you find the right instructions.
