Coconut milk, tamarind & aromatic spices blend together in perfect harmony with the prawns. This product contains raw prawns & must be cooked before consumption, please refer to instructions.

Ingredients

Coconut Milk (Coconut Kernel Extract (89%), Water), Prawns (Crustacean), Tomato, Mango, Onion, Fresh Chilli, Coconut, Coconut Oil, Tamarind Paste (Tamarind 80%, Water, Acidity Regulator (330), Preservative (211).), Ginger, Tomato Paste, Garlic, Ground Coriander, Curry Leaf, Salt, Pepper, Turmeric.

Instructions

Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

For optimum results, Re heat on the stove from Defrosted.

Reheat on the stove:

  1. If Frozen, transfer the contents of tray into a suitably sized pot.
  2. On a low to medium heat, stir the curry. As it starts to thaw, gradually increase the temperature to medium heat. Approx. 4 minutes.
  3. Keep stirring on a medium heat for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Enjoy

  1. If Defrosted, Pour the curry into a suitably sized pot.
  2. On a medium heat, stir the curry for approx. 7 minutes, until hot.
  3. Enjoy.

Reheat in the Microwave

  1. If Frozen, heat in microwave for 7 minutes.
  2. If Defrosted, heat in microwave for 5 minutes.
  3. Enjoy!

To ensure the prawns will not be overcooked, the prawns in your Coconut & Prawn Curry, are raw. The prawns will cook as you Reheat the curry, to ensure the Juiciest Prawns possible for your enjoyment.

Chef Recommendations

To enhance your experience further, the chef suggests adding the following before serving: Christine likes to stir coriander leaves & a little sliced green chilli through the curry once heated & garnish with fried curry leaves. Serve with Providoor's Aromatic Rice or roti & mint yoghurt.
