Silvia Colloca’s Authentic Italian Meatballs come straight from her mother, offering a true taste of family tradition. These tender meatballs are lovingly simmered in a rich tomato sugo, delivering authentic Italian flavours that are both comforting and delicious. Perfect for a cozy meal at home, these meatballs provide a genuine Italian experience, straight from Silvia’s mother’s kitchen to yours.

Ingredients

Crushed Tomatoes (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Citric Acid), Free Range Pork, Grass-fed Veal, Breadcrumbs (Wholemeal Wheat Flour, Maize Flour, Rye Flour, Canola Oil, Water, Vinegar, Salt, Yeast, Preservatives (282, 262), Colours (102, 122), Vitamin (Thiamin Folate).), Parmesan Cheese (Milk, Salt, Rennet, Preservative (Lysozyme From Egg).), Tomato Puree (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Citric Acid,), Tomato, Onion, Egg, Basil, Celery, Olive Oil, Salt, Carrot, Garlic, Pepper.

Instructions

Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

Top Tip: For optimum results, cook from defrosted.

Reheat in the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C.
  2. If Defrosted, heat for 15 minutes covered, and a further 10 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  3. If Frozen, heat for 25 minutes covered, and a further 15 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  4. Be careful removing the tray from the oven as the tray will be very hot.
  5. Serve & enjoy!

  2. From Defrosted, pour the meatballs and sugo into an oven safe dish & cover with foil, heat for 15 minutes and a further 10 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  3. From Frozen, pour the meatballs and sugo into an oven safe dish & cover with foil, heat for 25 minutes and a further 15 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  4. Be careful removing the tray from the oven as the tray will be very hot.
  5. Serve & enjoy!

Reheat in Microwave

  1. If, Defrosted, pierce the container 2 - 3 times & heat in microwave for 5 minutes, until hot.
  2. If, Frozen, pierce the container 2-3 times & heat in microwave for 10-12 minutes, until hot.
  3. Enjoy!

We understand how much the original Providoor meant to many Australians, especially during the challenging times of COVID. It provided a way to enjoy high-quality meals from beloved restaurants in the comfort of your home. We also understand that some of you may still hold vouchers from the previous iteration of Providoor, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

When the original Providoor, unfortunately, went into administration, we made the decision to purchase the brand because we recognised its significance to so many Australians. Providoor was more than just a business; it was a source of comfort, connection, and joy during tough times. However, while we have revived and rebranded Providoor to focus on delivering gourmet frozen meals from celebrity chefs, we are a completely new company with a different business model and operations.

This means that we do not have any obligation to honour the vouchers issued by the previous company, as those financial liabilities were not transferred to us during the acquisition. We know this may be disappointing news, but please understand that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued customers.
