This is my Mum’s recipe. You’re welcome! Traditional Italian meatballs & tomato sugo.


Crushed Tomatoes (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Citric Acid), Pork, Veal, Breadcrumbs (Wholemeal Wheat Flour, Maize Flour, Rye Flour, Canola Oil, Water, Vinegar, Salt, Yeast, Preservatives (282, 262), Colours (102, 122), Vitamin (Thiamin Folate).), Parmesan Cheese (Milk, Salt, Rennet, Preservative (Lysozyme From Egg).), Tomato Puree (Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Citric Acid,), Tomato, Onion, Egg, Basil, Celery, Olive Oil, Salt, Carrot, Garlic, Pepper.


Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

Top Tip: For optimum results, cook from defrosted.

Reheat in the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C.
  2. If Defrosted, heat for 15 minutes covered, and a further 10 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  3. If Frozen, heat for 25 minutes covered, and a further 15 minutes uncovered, until hot.
  4. Be careful removing the tray from the oven as the tray will be very hot.
  5. Serve & enjoy!

Chef Recommendations

To enhance your experience further, the chef suggests adding the following before serving: Add some fresh torn basil leaves to garnish your dish or some finely grated pecorino cheese & boil some tagliatelle, fresh is best, as per the manufacturer’s directions. Toss your meatballs and sauce through the pasta. We recommend 200-250g raw pasta for 2 serves.
