Slow-cooked to perfection by Justin Narayan, this Pulled Pork Shoulder achieves that perfect balance of sweet richness and deep, savoury flavour that great pulled pork demands. The meat is tender enough to pull apart with a fork, with a depth of flavour that only comes from long, patient cooking.
Justin's recipe draws on bold, aromatic spices that complement the natural sweetness of the pork without overpowering it. Whether you are building tacos, loading up a burger, or serving it straight with sides, this pulled pork delivers every time.

“We’re talking melt-in-your-mouth pork, rubbed in spice and slow-cooked until it pulls apart with a fork. It’s juicy, it’s punchy, and it’s super versatile — throw it in buns, wraps or over rice and you’re sorted.”

Lots of flavour and meat was tender. Easy to prepare, just had to heat and shred the meat. Managed to get two meals each with my husband when teamed with some soft rolls and salad. Great meal for sharing.

You have to shred the pork yourself as it comes in solid pieces with some sauce which is not enough to go by after you shred the pork. As a result the shreded pork is dry and a bit bland. I would prefer it to be shreded and mix with the sauce before vacuum pack and sent thereby guaranting every bite is flavouful.

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the pork didn’t come shredded and mixed with enough sauce, leaving it dry and bland. We’ll pass your feedback to our kitchen team to improve prep and packaging so every bite is flavorful.
If you’d like to discuss this further or have more details to share, please email info@providoor.com and we’ll take a closer look.
Warm regards,
Team Providoor

It appears that your voucher belongs to the old Providoor, which, unfortunately, is not us. :(
We understand how much the original Providoor meant to many Australians, especially during the challenging times of COVID. It provided a way to enjoy high-quality meals from beloved restaurants in the comfort of your home. We also understand that some of you may still hold vouchers from the previous iteration of Providoor, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
When the original Providoor, unfortunately, went into administration, we made the decision to purchase the brand because we recognised its significance to so many Australians. Providoor was more than just a business; it was a source of comfort, connection, and joy during tough times. However, while we have revived and rebranded Providoor to focus on delivering gourmet frozen meals from celebrity chefs, we are a completely new company with a different business model and operations.
This means that we do not have any obligation to honour the vouchers issued by the previous company, as those financial liabilities were not transferred to us during the acquisition. We know this may be disappointing news, but please understand that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued customers.
Thank you again for your understanding and for being a part of Providoor’s journey. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality gourmet experiences, and we look forward to serving you in the future.
