Justin Narayan's Vegetarian Samosas - Serves 4

Experience the delicious taste of Justin Narayan’s Samosas. These crispy little pockets of perfection are generously filled with spiced potato and pea mixture, offering a crunchy and satisfying snack or side dish. Each samosa is meticulously prepared, ensuring a perfect balance of herbs and seasonings. Ideal for parties, gatherings, or as a tasty treat anytime.

Ingredients

Stuffing: Potato, Green Peas, Ginger, Sunflower Oil, Green Chilli, Coriander Leaves, Coriander Crushed, Cumin, Chat Masala, Coriander Ground, Sugar, Garam Masala, Asafoetida, Turmeric.

Pastry: Wheat Flour,
Water, Dalda, Sunflower Oil, Ajwain, Salt.

Instructions

Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

To ensure you achieve optimum results, only cook from frozen.

Reheat in the Oven

  1. Pre heat oven to 180°C.
  2. From Frozen, heat for 15-18 minutes until piping hot.
  3. Serve & enjoy!

We understand how much the original Providoor meant to many Australians, especially during the challenging times of COVID. It provided a way to enjoy high-quality meals from beloved restaurants in the comfort of your home. We also understand that some of you may still hold vouchers from the previous iteration of Providoor, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

When the original Providoor, unfortunately, went into administration, we made the decision to purchase the brand because we recognised its significance to so many Australians. Providoor was more than just a business; it was a source of comfort, connection, and joy during tough times. However, while we have revived and rebranded Providoor to focus on delivering gourmet frozen meals from celebrity chefs, we are a completely new company with a different business model and operations.

This means that we do not have any obligation to honour the vouchers issued by the previous company, as those financial liabilities were not transferred to us during the acquisition. We know this may be disappointing news, but please understand that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued customers.
