Manu Feildel's Classic Chicken Fricassee is a timeless favourite, featuring tender chicken gently simmered in a creamy white wine sauce with earthy mushrooms, fresh herbs, and a hint of garlic. Comforting, rich, and full of flavour, it’s a true classic done right.

Cooking Instructions

1. Stove Top

Defrosted: Place contents in a medium-sized pan on a medium heat, with a lid. Stir occasionally and cook for 8-12 minutes until heated through.

Frozen: Using a medium sized pan, add in a tablespoon of water and cook on a low heat for 8-12 minutes with a lid. Gently loosen the frozen contents with a wooden spoon every few minutes.

Increase the heat to a medium and cook for a further 8-12 minutes. Stir occasionally until heated through.

When ready, the sauce should be slightly thick and coat the back of a spoon. If it is too thick, add a tablespoon of water. If it is too thin, cook for a little longer with the pan lid removed.

Serve and enjoy.

2. Oven

Preheat oven to 160°C.

Defrosted: Place contents into an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and heat for 20 minutes. Then, increase to 190°C and heat uncovered for 5 more minutes.

Frozen: Heat covered for 35 minutes, then increase to 190°C and heat uncovered for 10 more minutes.

Carefully remove, serve, and enjoy.

3. Microwave

Defrosted: Pierce the film, place the tray in the microwave, and heat for about 6 minutes, until hot.

Frozen: Remove outer packaging, pierce the film, and place the tray in the microwave. If possible, use defrost mode on your microwave for approximately 6 minutes.

Then using full power mode, heat for 4-8 minutes depending on your microwave.

Carefully remove, serve, and enjoy!This meal is best enjoyed cooked on a stove.

This means that we do not have any obligation to honour the vouchers issued by the previous company, as those financial liabilities were not transferred to us during the acquisition. We know this may be disappointing news, but please understand that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued customers.
